Meet the Veterinary Surgeons
Sabine Boye MRCVS
Sabine grew up in Zimbabwe and followed her parents into the veterinary profession, even studying at the same university in Germany. Sabine came to Rowcliffe House on work placement during her final year and decided to come back when she qualified in 2000.
She lives with her husband and son on their beef and sheep farm. Sabine enjoys open water swimming and can frequently be found speeding across Lake Ullswater.
Sarah Lester BVetMed CertSAS MRCVS
Sarah graduated from The Royal Veterinary College, and has worked in small animal practice in Stevenage and Leeds. She completed a surgical residency at the University of Edinburgh for four years and has a strong interest in all surgical cases.
Sarah joined us here at Rowcliffe House in 2011 and works purely on the small animal side of the practice. In her spare time Sarah can be found cycling, running and playing in the outdoors.
Dani Blair BVM&S MRCVS
Dani joined us at Rowcliffe House Vets in September 2014 after graduating from Edinburgh University.
She is originally from Orkney and enjoys all aspects of working in a mixed practice. Dani is married to a local beef and sheep farmer and in her spare time can be found looking after him and their many dogs! She also has a small flock of Kerry Hill sheep.
Ashley Cotton BVSc MRCVS
Ashley joined Rowcliffe House Vets in September 2016 after graduating from Bristol University. She has a particular interest in sheep medicine and flock health.
In her spare time, Ashley enjoys walking in the fells with her dogs Ruby and Norman. She also has six hens: Ruth, Winnie, Sandra, Sylvia, Babs and Whitney.
Adam Jones MRCVS
Adam joined Rowcliffe House following his graduation from Bristol University in 2019. He comes from a farming background, originating from Lymm.
Adam works in all areas of clinical practice and has a particular interest in infectious disease. His hobbies include rock climbing, squash and creative writing.
